Lisbon Restaurant: Leonetta's Aesthetic Will Have You Swooning

Leonetta is now one of my absolute favorite restaurants abroad. Granted, it wasn’t Portuguese-centered but it was a nice way to mix up my meals! I’ve heard nothing from amazing things about it so I knew I had to book it in advance.

The Look & Feel

From the eclectic gallery wall to the moody lamps, it has this cozy look that makes you feel right at home. I loved that they have a bar top table facing the narrow street so you can people watch. Such lovely interiors and even better food and drinks, in addition to great service.

Bites

My friend and I decided to share plates because we had sunset sailing tour that served food not long after and wanted to save some room. But looking back, we should have gotten our own. It was impeccable!

• Parmigiano croquettes, pomodoro sauce & basil. First time having this dish and I would get it on the weekly if I could. It had a nice crisp with perfectly seasoned sauce.

• Prosciutto di Parma 24 months, fried gnocco & parmigiano. Better than bread sticks!

• Tortellini with shrimp with garlic peels. Simple yet delicious, I wish I had more of these baby shrimps in my bowl.

Sips

•Ginja Amaro Spritz - Ginja, amaro ramazzotti, cocoa bitters, prosecco, soda water & ganache chocolate paint. This looked like a whisky but far from it, it was strong and chocolately.

•Purple Passion - Beefeater, ginja, dry vermouth, red berries mix, lemon juice, sugar, aquafaba & edible flowers. Ah, beautiful in presentation and sweet. Made me pucker up with each sip.

Fun Fact: Ginja is a traditional Portuguese cherry liqueur, you can find it pretty much everyhwere in Lisbon. It tastes great on its own and is often paired with a chocolate shot cup! It’s a must try.

If you’re visiting Lisbon, consider this cute spot. Reserve here!
